| Darren has been out and about around Jersey
looking at suitable locations for the 24 hour stereoscopic time-lapse films
for the Branchage Festival.
Brian and I will be modifying and improving the camera and tripod system
that we used for the East End films this week. The plan is to shoot all
three films in the series at the beginning of July, which gives us about
a week to test the camera... |

| Brian
and I are working with Claudia
Molitor (composer for Wrestle
and Clouded) on
a stereoscopic video piece which will form part of a commissioned work for
the London Sinfonietta
in October. |
| We are also starting a collaboration with
Darren Umney and Site-Eye on a new
series of stereoscopic time-lapse films in Jersey. |

and One All from
the Views From Here project

| Had a very successful launch of the
films for the East
End Film Festival 3D installation in Spitalfields
Market yesterday evening. The films will continue to run between 10am
and 10pm until next Thursday, 30th April. Many thanks to the East End Film
Festival, and particularly Mila
Lipowicz, for making this project happen. |
| ...and Brian and I have finally come up
with a name for when we work together, we shall now be known as "map
films" and we'll have a website up and running soon. Details of the
collaborative works will still be here and on Red-Ochre
Productions but we thought it would be good to have a repository of
everything in one place. |

| We are very excited to announce that each
of the EEFF videos will
have a soundtrack by Michael Nyman,
David Arnold, Ari
Benjamin Meyers, Ben Park or Alabama

| During the set up of the Tower of London
shoot Brian was interviewed for an EEFF
podcast that can be watched here |
| The photo above is from yesterday at my
studio where I've been continuing trying out two camera sky time-lapse videos
that I started in Trondheim. In Norway I only had a laptop with me so had
to do tests using tapes, but back in my studio I can use two computers and
do much longer tests. You can see the 10am to 6pm test from yesterday here
(including bits of the roof line of the bus depot, and it seems they
cleaned or replaced the flag whilst I was away!). Hoping to get some dawn
to dusk shoots done over the next week. |

| Back in the UK now and just a few weeks
away from the premier of the new stereoscopic time-lapse films Brian and
I (we seriously need to come up with a name for our joint stuff) have been
making for the East
End Film Festival. Have set up a separate page here
for information about the films and there is a short trailer using footage
from all five films here |
